Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) is proud to announce its inclusion in Becker’s Hospital Review’s prestigious list of hospitals that patients would highly recommend. Measured by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) through the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, this recognition places CCMC among an elite group of healthcare facilities nationwide that have achieved a five-star rating for patient recommendation.
The five-star rating reflects exceptional performance in key areas of patient experience, including communication with physicians and nurses, staff responsiveness, cleanliness, and care transitions. Survey data collected between July 2023 and June 2024 underscores CCMC’s commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care and ensuring every patient feels supported throughout their healthcare journey.
“We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition,” said Austin Gillard, CEO of Clay County Medical Center. “Our team works tirelessly to provide patient-centered care, and this achievement demonstrates the trust and confidence our communities place in us. We are proud to be one of only a handful of hospitals in Kansas to earn this distinction.”
Out of hundreds of hospitals nationwide, CCMC stands out as one of the few rural healthcare providers to achieve this level of excellence. This accomplishment reinforces CCMC’s reputation as a trusted leader in healthcare and its dedication to improving patient outcomes through seamless care transitions and personalized service.
