The mission of the Clay County Hospital Foundation is to secure voluntary gift support for the Clay County Medical Center.
The Hospital Trustees approved formation of the Clay County Hospital Foundation to facilitate retention of medical staff and to secure community support with tax exempt contributions. In April 1987, the Clay County Hospital Foundation was registered with the Kansas Secretary of State and in July 1, 1988 the Foundation was granted an exemption from the Federal Income Tax by the Internal Revenue Service.
Since its establishment, the CCH Foundation has invested over $2 million, which has enabled CCH Foundation staff to support Clay County Medical Center in all areas of expansion, building and remodeling. The foundation offices are located on the second floor of the northwest wing of Clay County Medical Center, above the Mark A. Chapman Wellness Center.
With community support, Clay County Medical Center can continue to provide vital health services for residents of Clay County and neighboring counties. Community support helps the hospital meet its commitment to community health care. Making a charitable contribution to the Clay County Hospital Foundation is a excellent way to support your community while realizing a tax savings.
