Clay Center Family Physicians has been providing quality medical care to members of this community for over thirty years. A highly trained staff of board certified physicians (MD), Certified Family Nurse Practioners (FNP-C) and Advanced Practioners, RN (APRN) provide comprehensive health care to families in Clay Center and surrounding counties.
The medical staff also cares for the residents of seven area nursing homes. The main office in Clay Center is located next to Clay County Medical Center. Services are also provided at our satellite clinics in Clyde, Riley, Linn, and Glasco. Each facility is a Medicare certified Rural Health Clinic.
Appointments
Please schedule non-emergency visits as far in advance as possible. An appointment best allows us to reserve your consultation. We will do our best to work you into our schedule when you need immediate help. Acute illness or urgent care appointments are always given priority. To make an appointment, call the number listed under the clinic location where you would like to see your provider.
Your Office Visit
We have a genuine interest in each patient and make every effort to ensure that your visit is relaxed and comfortable. On your first visit, please arrive early to complete registration. Bring your current health insurance cards and a list of medications. We process claims with every major insurance company including BlueCross BlueShield, Preferred Health, TRICARE, Kansas Medicaid and Medicare. Co-payment is expected on the day of your office visit. Wheelchair service will be provided if needed.
Hospital Care
In the event you need to be hospitalized, all of our providers are active members of the medical staff at Clay County Medical Center. Should further medical consultation be needed, our providers are well connected with specialists in the Manhattan, Kansas City, Salina, Topeka and Wichita areas.
