Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) Environmental Services (EVS) has been awarded a 5-star rating for cleanliness by Becker's Hospital Review. This distinction underscores CCMC's unwavering commitment to maintaining exceptional standards in hospital cleanliness and patient care.

The rating is derived from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which gauges patient experiences during their hospital stays. The results, reflecting feedback collected between October 2022 and September 2023, were last updated on July 31, 2024. Out of thousands of hospitals evaluated, only 350 achieved the coveted 5-star rating, marking them as leaders in hospital cleanliness and patient satisfaction.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of CCMC’s Environmental Services (EVS) Team. Led by Rita Tiemeyer, the EVS Team at CCMC plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
