Please join us in congratulating the Meadowlark Hospice team for being ranked 2nd for quality of all not-for-profit hospice organizations in the state of Kansas! This is the first ever publicly available ranking of hospice quality, and is a huge honor and accomplishment.

On April 12, 2023, the National Hospice Locator began providing free information to the public regarding every known hospice location. Hospice quality is very important, yet difficult to define, measure, or report. Hospice Analytics, with input from hospice leaders across the country, developed a hospice quality ranking tool . There are currently nine (9) weighted metrics used to calculate a hospice quality ranking score including: hospice visits in the last days of life, levels of care provided, percentage of caregivers reporting "Yes, they would definitely recommend this hospice", staffing ratios, stability, and accreditation to name a few.
