Congratulations to the CCMC Inpatient Nursing team for receiving a five-star rating in Nurse Communication!

Becker's Hospital Review recently compiled a list of the best hospitals for nurse communication in the country, and Clay County Medical Center was one of only eight in the state of Kansas to receive a five-star rating!

The nurse communication star rating combines data from HCAHPS ( Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey questions and summarizes how well patients feel that their nurses explained things clearly, listened carefully to the patient, and treated the patient with courtesy and respect.

This is an outstanding accomplishment that shows the commitment our team makes to a high quality healthcare experience for our patients.
