Now that the new Clyde Family Physicians clinic is open and serving local patients, the fundraising campaign that helped fund the furnishings, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for the new comprehensive medical clinic is coming to an end.

The effort is slightly over $1,000 away from its $150,000 campaign goal, but the campaign has already been called a success because it was able to pay for the entire FF&E budget, which helped solidify the financial status of the clinic. The clinic, which cost $1 million, opened on Feb. 10 and the new facility has received rave reviews.

Work will begin soon on the donor recognition board, which will list all of the campaign donors and will be placed in the clinic’s main lobby.

“Anyone who might have been thinking about donating, now is your final chance,” said Dan Thalmann, campaign director. “Any donation amount will get your name on the donor board as a supporter of the new clinic and local healthcare in the Clyde area. We will cut off donations on April 13, but any donors who give before that will be included.

“Donations can be made in honor or in memory of someone else as well,” said Thalmann. “The response has been fantastic and we plan to pay back that commitment with top-notch healthcare for many, many years to come.”
