4-H Club Artshow

The Lincoln Creek 4-H Club is now showing artwork created during the 2014 -2015 4-H year at Clay County Medical Center. This show allows everyone to witness the culmination and refinement of the great variety of skills that are taught in 4-H art and design. The club provides numerous opportunities for artistic expression in varied forms which include painting, sketching, ceramics, photography, knitting, sewing, and much more.

The Clay County 4-Hers participating with the art show are:  Keath Meyer, Katie Sleichter, Maggie Sleichter, Lainie Sleichter, Julianna Davis, Afton Sterling, Mackenzie Sterling and Alexa Leitzel.

4-H is a unique organization, in that it is the only youth development organization with oversight and sponsorship by the federal government.  At the federal level, 4-H is administered by the United States Department of Agriculture, through the National Institute of Food and Agriculture. 4-H is great for any family no matter where they live.  The values of leadership, hard work, community, and learning by doing are worthwhile and apply to everybody.
