Dr. O. Warren Meyer has served cardiac patients at Clay County Medical Center since 1983 and continues to serve our community. A few years ago, Dr. Meyer joined the Cotton-O’Neil Heart Center and Stormont-Vail HealthCare. Through that association, he is introducing Dr. Donney Kastner, who will see patients through our Cardiac Rehab Department. Dr. Kastner will replace Dr. Wu who has assumed a more administrative role in the practice. Dr. Kastner will begin seeing patients on October 8th, 2014.
Donney Kastner, M.D., cardiologist, at the Cotton-O’Neil Heart Center, is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and nuclear medicine. He has clinical interests in cardiac and vascular ultrasound, CT coronary angiography, general cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, nuclear cardiology, transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Kastner joined the Cotton-O’Neil Heart Center in 2001. Dr. Kastner, received his medical degree at Texas A&M University College of Medicine, College Station, Texas, in 1995. He completed a residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Texas A&M University and Scott and White Healthcare, Temple, Texas, in 2001. He will provide clinical outreach services in Clay County, Burlington, and Emporia. Thomas Doyle, MD FACC is also a partner at Cotton O’Neil and holds monthly pacemaker clinics in Clay Center.
