

| Clay County Medical Center offers several support groups for members of the community. Each of these groups provide support and education in order to help group members deal with their life changing illness.
The Alzheimer's Group meets every 2nd Monday in the in the Meadowlark Hospice office conference room located at 709 Liberty St. in Clay Center at 7:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Rita Wollenberg.
The Bereavement Support Groups are open to anyone that has suffered a loss and are open to the public. These support groups focus on learning about grief and loss. Additional support is often needed when an individual suffers the loss of a loved one. Individuals can find this support in the Bereavement Support Group offered by Meadowlark Hospice. This group meets first Thursday of each month in the Meadowlark Hospice office conference room located at 709 Liberty St. in Clay Center. Additional support groups are offered in other counties. | Diabetes
Support Group |
The primary focus of Clay County Medical Center's Diabetes support group is education. Group members receive the latest information on new treatments and diabetic care. The group meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month five times per year. Meeting months are January, March, May, September, and November.

| Stroke Support Group |
The stroke support group is open to survivors of stroke, family members, caregivers, and friends of those who have suffered a stroke. At the meeting, attendees are able to discuss coping strategies to meet the challenges of daily living. Stroke survivors are encouraged to share their experiences. The group meets every third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., in the Clay County Medical Center education room.
