Supporters of local healthcare have a new opportunity to help ensure a solid foundation for the Riley Family Physicians clinic through a new matching funds gift. A commitment by the Craig & Terri Parry Charitable Trust established $25,000 in dollar-for-dollar matching funds for any donations to Riley Family Physicians through the Clay County Hospital Foundation.
The clinic, the first doctor’s office in Riley since the 1980s, has had a great reception since its opening a year ago and expands the modern healthcare offerings provided through all Clay County Medical Center’s family of physicians’ clinics.
The matching funds effort helps pick up where the initial campaign left off.
“The original campaign started just as the pandemic shut-down hit, which was a challenge,” said Dan Thalmann, Clay County Hospital Foundation (CCHF) Director. “As a result, room naming rights are still available and can be sponsored for any donation of $5,000 or more. But any level of financial contribution to this effort will secure the matching funds and donors will be listed on a permanent donor board at the clinic.”
If the foundation raises the entire amount, that will equal another $50,000 in support of Riley Family Physicians, which would benefit the continued improvement of healthcare for the entire region.
“Support of any of our campaigns helps create the most modern and innovative medical care available in our region,” said Dan Thalmann, CCHF Director. “Whether it is $25 or $25,000, any size donation toward this effort will go to the Improvement of local healthcare, which benefits people from all ages and all walks of life. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Craig and Terri for stepping up with this generous gift to help us make the Riley Family Physicians campaign successful.”
