Clay County Medical Center is pleased to extend its services once again in making your healthcare more accessible. Our Walk-In Clinic has been so successful; we are extending the hours to include Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Staffing will remain the same – we will be using our own employees under the supervision of Dr. John Kelley. Weekday clinics will begin on March 6th.
The Walk-In Clinic provides an alternative for illnesses and injuries that can’t wait until regular office hours. We felt working families would benefit from the extended hours, so we conducted a Facebook poll to test the attitude of the community. 96.9% of those responding were in favor of extending the hours.
To utilize this service, patients will enter through the CCMC Emergency Room doors and tell the Admissions desk you are here for the Walk-In Clinic. A nurse and medical provider will attend to your needs as soon as possible, primarily treating injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not serious enough to require an Emergency Room visit.
