Physical Therapist or Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (CPTA) – PRN position for a PT or CPTA licensed to work in Kansas that can assist regular staff during times of high census or shortage of staff by performing routine therapy treatments and patient care on an as needed basis. Experience is preferred.
ER Mid-Level provider – Full-time position for a PA-C or ARNP with previous ER experience certified in JACLS, PALS and ATLS. This position would be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week average with a rotating schedule working 24 hours shifts. Opportunity for more hours is possible if requested. This position will be responsible for emergency patients and those coming to the walk-in clinic.

Registered Nurses – Full-time position on the 7A-7P and 7P-7A shifts working three 12-hour shifts a week. Must be licensed and in good standings to work in the state of Kansas as a RN. Prefer someone with hospital experience. Experience in OB or ER is a plus but will educate and train the right person.
Certified Nurse Aide – Full-time position on the 7A-7P shift working three 12-hours shifts a week. Must be certified and in good standings to working the state of Kansas as a CNA. Prefer someone with hospital experience but will train the right person. Good people and communication skills are a must.
Specialty Clinic Nurse – RN or LPN to work part-time (20-29 hrs. per week) assisting the specialty providers who come provide outpatient clinics at CCMC. Must have a nursing license and able to work in Kansas, great people skills, good computer and excellent communication skills. Taking applications through August 15th.
OB Coordinator – This is either a regular relief position or could be additional responsibilities added to a full-time position. Will be responsible for OB Committee policies, OB committee meetings, QA, helping train staff, etc. Will need experience in OB, good leadership and communication skills. Will be responsible for working OB and taking some of the OB on-call.
Director of Surgical Services – Full-time position for a working manager for the surgery department including some on-call with possible call-back. Will be responsible for managing and directing the overall performance within the surgical department including staff education and development, increasing surgical volumes, and the addition of new services/service lines in alignment with the strategic productivity, and the overall performance including compliance to applicable regulatory standards. Must be a licensed RN in the state of Kansas. A bachelor degree in nursing is preferred along with two to five years of supervisory experience. Must have three plus years of operating room clinical nursing experience.
Surgery Tech or Nurse – Full-time position for a self-motivated individual seeking full-time employment in the surgery department. The candidate will work in all areas of the surgery department including but not limited to: scrubbing, sterile processing, scheduling, etc. Will be on-call approximately 15 days per month with four of those days being weekends. Required 30 minute response time while on call. Prefer formal education for this position but will consider experience in place of education. Experience scrubbing preferred. Exemplary customer service required.
Housekeeper – Regular Relief position cleaning the Linn Clinic after hours. Will be around 5 to 10 hours a pay period.
Admissions Clerk – PRN position available working to assist during short staffing. No guaranteed hours, schedule may flex depending on shift that needs covered. May include some weekend and evening coverage. Basic office skills, good computer skills, good communication and people skills, detail orientated with extreme accuracy is just a few traits required. Need to be organized and be able to multitask. Previous hospital experience is preferred but not required.
Admissions Clerk – Regular Relief Position working approximately 13-15 hours a week, mostly evenings and weekends. Candidate needs exemplary customer service skills, basic office skills, god computer skills, good communication and people skills, detail orientated with extreme accuracy. Need to be organized and be able to multitask. Previous hospital experience is preferred but not required.
Accounts Receivable Clerk – Full-time position for a business minded individual who is organized and has the ability to multitask while posting payments on patient accounts at CCFP. The position is also responsible for admissions backup. Must have basic office and computer skills, great communication and people skills, and detail oriented with extreme accuracy.
Medical Assistant – Full-time position for a CNA or a Certified Medical Assistant working mostly Monday-Friday in a clinic setting. Must be organized and have great people skills. Responsible for greeting patients, rooming patients, taking vitals, chart entry, and other clinic nursing department responsibilities.
Marketing, Communications and Foundation Director -- Full-time salaried position, works directly with the CEO. You will be responsible for communicating the scope of services CCMC has to offer to its internal and external stakeholders in order to build the public image of CCMC, and to ensure continued support by Clay County and surrounding communities. In this position, you will plan, produce, print, and distribute communications for various customers of CCMC including patients, hospital departments, physicians, media, vendors, and others. This position manages Community Benefit programs and requirements for completing the Community Needs Health Assessment.
Along with the assigned marketing and communications duties, this position will oversee the Clay County Hospital Foundation. You will build community and donor relationships in an effort to promote the Foundation. You will create, implement, and monitor new donors and work closely with existing donors, foundations, corporations, community leaders, and employees to further the Foundation. A high level of communication skill is required. You must be able to relate to board members, physicians, private foundations, employees, patients and their families. You must possess the ability to write effectively and be a good public speaker.
Preferred Experience: Demonstrated success and evidence of the ability to plan and execute a successful fund drive; OR high-level experience in corporate leadership and strategy, business development, or management. Experience in public relations, communications, and marketing; Experience with healthcare and wellness initiatives.
