Clay Center Youth Leadership Academy

The Clay Center Community Middle School's Youth Leadership Academy stopped by Clay County Medical Center for an educational tour about the various career opportunities available in the hospital. Justin Begnoche, Radiology Technologist, gave them a tour of the Radiology Department and gave them advice on options available in this field. Next Tyce Young, Director of Nusing, took the to the group to the Emergency Room, Outpatient Clinic, OB Department and Cardiac Rehab. A sack Lunch was provided by Clay County Medical Center.

Justin and Tyce both addressed the issue of continuing education in your field after completion of college. The Police Department came to the Clay County Medical Center and gave their presentation while the youth leadership academy ate their lunch.

8:30 a.m. – leave CCCMS

8:40 a.m. – City Hall

9:15 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services

10:00 a.m. – Street Department

11:00 a.m. – Tour Clay County Medical Center

11:30 a.m. – Sack lunch at CCMC

12:10 p.m. – Police Department – site TBD

12:50 p.m. – Fire Department

2:00 p.m. – Courthouse

2:50 pm – return to CCCMS
